What works
I have spent too much time trying to get this to work !!!
In order to work you need the installer "yo3setup_20100709en.exe" !!! its an older one than the one on the official site atm.
"yo3setup_20110728en.exe" gives a 1154 error during installer's extraction. Messed with Temp folder priviledge options but still didnt work.
1.4-rcl gave the fastest install.
Game will update and load
Functions like edit deck n dueling r working
What does not
Some cards do not work and do not display.
They rather r invisible with X in the down-left corner in deck creation (already saved decks,otherwise u cant find it at all)
Also opponent cards may come blank or white-blank ....
1card i discovered with the fault is Nova Master.
I reached a point where i used polymerisation but in window pop-up i couldnt click on any of the 2 invisible cards. (1 is nova master)
Also 1 opponent's card was Just white image , but he didn't get 2play it 2see what will happen. I just lost from time after polymerisation activation.
I tried copying the full directory from windows install over the linux 1 , but it didn't solve the problem. I also tried using different wine versions but it didn't fix it either.
My system use Ati5770 , QX6700 , Asus P5B-E , Ubuntu Studio 10.4 (natty) 4GB Ram.
