Additional Comments
I was able to improve the intro movie by using a no cd crack downloaded from megagames.com and by renaming the files protect.exe and protect.dll to protect.old.exe and protect.old.dll to disable starforce.
SkipVideo=true no longer needed

Under wine 0.9.25 I no longer need SkipVideo=true. I'm able to see the intro movies for the first time! There are some issues with audio sync however, at the end of the movie the sound is lagging ~1.5 seconds behind.
The RTS missions still do not work, with the same issues as allways:
