What works
Installer (can take a while, but does work a little cleaner if you use it), menus, menu music, some sound effects (voices). Was able to view game in 640x480x16 and 800x600x16.


What does not
Mouse cursor not visible during game play, some fonts are almost unreadable (Klingons), unable to see or do anything if heads up display is active.


What was not tested
Multiplayer.


Additional Comments

Tested with an HP m1170n, ATI X300 SE, ATI binary driver 8.443.1 (not fglrx from repository).

WARNING

The installation is fairly quick, but I believe the background to it are hardcoded for a longer install time. It will finish installing and run through the rest of the pictures.

 Just a warning in case you think it's crashed, I do believe the music keeps playing mind so that would be a good indicator.

Don't use with KDE4 effects.

Running KDE4 on Kubuntu 8.10, and compositing effects, results in the window vanishing, but the audio continuing to play in the background.
