Additional Comments
The only thing Wine must improve is the startup. It takes about 40-50 seconds (in Windows about 5...).
My hardware config: Intel Pentium D 3.00 Ghz, 1 GB of RAM, Asus GeForce EN9500 GT overclocked.
Since this is an expansion pack, please refer to any tickets or problems in Call of Duty and/or attempt to execute Call of Duty before posting any problems.
In my personal experience with the game(s) I have not had a problem in this expansion without the base game (Call of Duty) also being at fault.

I get "Connection Interrupted" lag spikes every minute. It might be wireless networking. Does anyone else experience something like this?
Trick for Error -1603
by tiar on Tuesday July 26th 2011, 9:06
If the installer gives error -1603 during installation of UO, the game can be installed this way:
1) Copy first disc to your /home-folder.
2) Merge second discs /Setup-folder with the first disc's /Setup-folder you have copied.
3) Run installer from the folder from your /home-folder.
4) Now the installation should finish properly and it won't even prompt for a disc change.
Note: You may need to remove /uo-folder from the game folder before trying installation again.
This trick should also work in real Windows-environments, because this error is not Wine-related.

How does Multiplayer run?
by Jake Aboulafia on Thursday September 30th 2010, 2:56
I kinda wanna get this but does the multiplayer work okay?
i mean it got a rating of 'Platinum' but how is that a valid rating if such a key element of gameplay was "not tested" ?
Cannot install CoD:UO
by Paolo on Tuesday July 15th 2008, 3:26
Actually I can't install the expansion.
I mounted the iso and run the setup.exe, but it says "cannot load validatekey.dll" after windows installer configuration process and it quits. That dll is located into the Setup\rscr directory of the cd image.
I easily installed CoD and 1.5 patch without the loki installer and game works really fine.
Thanks for your help.
Cod 1 and Cod UO
by Jones on Monday March 19th 2007, 10:08
It works perfect!
I install both (cod1 and cod:uo) with loki-installer.
Display manager must be Xorg (not Xgl).
i do it like this:
1. console: "sudo mkdir /mnt/cdrom"
2. console: "mount -o loop cod_cd1.iso /mnt/cdrom"
3. then i open "call.of.duty_1.5-english.run" with loki-setup and
start install
4. then it ask me cd2, in console:
"sudo unmount /mnt/cdrom"
"sudo mount -o loop cod_cd2.iso /mnt/cdrom/"
5. And press ok.
6. Thats it. If you want install Cod:UO do that same way.
