Did not install the game from the installer. Copied the "Americas army" directory from /windows/Program Files in ~/AAO Copied the msvcr71.dll into ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32
Well... cd AAO/System and wine armyOps.exe
... and I got a big bombing out window!
