The splash shows up and then it crashes with message about unimplemented function in d3d (d3dx9_36.dll.D3DXCreateTextureFromFileExW). Using nativ dll does not helps (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION).

Paraworld install

Paraworld appears to install OK, but it hides the error messages relating to installing the Tages drivers. These drivers won't play nice with wine, so you need a nocd patch. After this, you get to the bug.
