An error "chain false" appears occasionally (before cutscenes or major picture changes when background music should change) - just neglect it and press "ok" (you can get rid of this message simply renaming "midi" folder in the game folder).

To speedup the game graphics you need to run it in fullscreen mode. But in most cases it will not work well. So it is possible to:
- set rule in winecfg for brave_s.exe to emulate desktop with 640x480 size
- start the game with
$ wine explorer /desktop=0,640x480 "C:\Program Files\Brave Soul\brave_s.exe"
