Since 1.2.49 wine is officially supported by the author
(Until 1.2.46 Beta 7 the unicode version of PCEditor was considered beta and was in an extra file named "PCEditorU.exe" The normal PCEditor can be launched via PCEditor.exe)

Until version 1.2.49 the "FTP Database Download" did not work and some DLLs where missing.
To work around the download problem you can download the database with any other FTP-capable tool and open the file with "File --> Open...". The "FTP Database Upload" always worked!

The missing DLLs have to be placed in your applications directory or to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/:
msvcp60.dll
mfc42.dll
mfc42u.dll (only for PCEditorU.exe)
Since 1.2.46 Beta 7 the Non-Unicode version has been removed and the mfc42u.dll is always needed!
