backtrace of crash with wine 1.5.5
by LoneVVolf on Saturday June 2nd 2012, 10:20
Sometimes xwing95 crashes with a page fault error when in-flight menus or options menu are exited ( ok/ back to game buttons)
I have found that setting winecfg to windows 95 reduces the amount of crashes.

XWING95.EXE won't start at all.
by A.G.R. on Sunday June 20th 2010, 14:33
openSUSE 11.1-64, wine-1.2-rc2.
Trying to start XWING95.EXE directly gives me a black screen for a second followed by this error message:
---snip---
err:d3d:wined3d_unregister_window Window 0x1004c is not registered with wined3d.
---snip---
Same with going through XWINGTIE.EXE.

Strange, X-Wing vs. TIE-Fighter + Balance of Power worked perfectly right out of the box - I can't see why this one doesn't at all.

bugs
by Andrew Huff on Thursday April 17th 2008, 16:20
Works alright for me with the latest wine from GIT (April 17th 2008), but:
* CD music doesn't seem to work
* Can't get out of the objectives menu if I look at it during a mission

This is quite annoying...
