There is no public version control. You can only get "the latest version" via download, and there are options to upgrade to another latest version "when instructed by tech support".

HOWTO
1) Install via command line using
msiexec /i renweb.msi

2) download the following dll files from www.dll-files.com:
mfc40.dll and msvbvm60.dll
Then, extract them to your .wine/drive_c/RenWeb/RenWeb.com folder

3) If you want to use your native browser (in my case, Firefox) change the BROWSER line in your Parameter.txt file to:

BROWSER /usr/bin/firefox <-- with a tab after Browser

4) The reports will still try  spawn a new WINE IE browser, but it is usually blank. Still, you can open up Report.HTM (found in your .wine/drive_c/RenWeb/RenWeb.com folder)in whatever browser you want, so just bookmark the location.

Browser shouldn't be native

If you want to have the reports show up for you without having to open the htm file yourself, you can install the windows version of Firefox in wine. Then, instead of trying to get RenWeb to open up the native version at /usr/bin..., you should insert this instead:

BROWSER C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

That way, the RenWeb program is looking for the Wine version of Firefox.
