The framerate is the same that windows, the game work very good.
Need to set wine in backbuffer for start the game
Open up winecfg.
Then add TestDriveUnlimited.exe and set it to Windows Vista.
Then the mouse work.
Tested on Test drive unlimited version 1.66a with a no-CD patch.

Joysticks?

Has anyone tried to configure a joystick in this game?
The joysticks seem to be recognized, but when you press a button the game keeps telling that you have to press one button or axis at a time. Then if you move the analog control, the calibrator says "waiting for neutral position" and the message never goes out.

Чтобы запустить игру в версиях wine старше чем 1.1.22 необходимо:
1) Открыть regedit
2) Открыть в нем HKEY_CURRENT_USER => Software => Wine
3) Создать там ключ под названием Direct3D
4) В этом ключе создать строковое значение [OffscreenRenderingMode = backbuffer]
