What does not
As mentioned by another tester (Matt), the menu bar was black, but
clicking on the place where a menu should be produces the pull-downs.
I tried a preloaded Lego creation, and tried to modify that. Whatever
brick I moved would disappear, though when I hovered over where it
should be, an outline of a box would appear where the brick should be.
This works properly on a bona-fide Windows XP Home Edition machine (bricks don't disappear when moved).
I
tried changing the resolution (I'm using 1280x1024),
allowing/disallowing windows manager to control the windows, enabling
"Emulate a virtual desktop," updating screen resolution to 120, and
alternately supporting Pixel Shader.
(If you move another brick, it will cause the others to reappear - sometimes. It's hard to figure out exactly.)
What was not tested
Testing was normal-user stuff, pretty thorough, though.
Additional Comments
I've marked this Bronze because it's actually a pretty debilitating condition.
