Additional Comments
In addition to vcrun6, I have also used winetricks to install corefonts, nocrashdialog, comctl32, gdiplus, ie6, and dotnet11.
However, Divx-player probably doesn't need all of these.
I'm using integrated graphics Intel Mobile 945GM/GMS with the latest ubuntu X-stable-updates https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates/
