Description

Just a teaser to Fallout 3

This game was made by 14 Degrees East, not Black Isle Studios, and is more tactical than role-play oriented. Most people recommend playing the original two Fallouts before this one.

CD-Rom issue
by Lng on Saturday February 9th 2013, 7:56
I have successfully installed Fallout Tactics from mounted ISO files on my Ubuntu laptop. It was full install. When I'm trying to play, it asks me to insert Fallot CD and I click Ok button, but it always says "Incorrect disk". I have mounted the first ISO file, linked it via Wine configuration tool with CD-Rom:

c: -> ../drive_c
d: -> /cdrom/
e:: -> /dev/sdb
f:: -> /dev/sr0
g:: -> /dev/sdd
h: -> /media/iso
h:: -> /dev/loop0
i:: -> /dev/sdc
z: -> /cdrom/

How can I fix it?

Installation does not work
by Victor on Friday June 8th 2012, 15:59
Hi,

I've just bought a bundle containing Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics. The first two of them are working with no issues at all, But FT cannot be installed.

This is my first try in Wine and I'm quite lost (although I have done a lot of reading). The error appears after accepting the license, entering the destination folder and choosing the installation size, just when the copy should begin.The error is generated by something called _INS5576._MP. Any idea anyone? If you need logs or whatever, please guide how to get them and the proper way to post them.

Thanks!
