What works
I have not yet encountered things that do not work. Theresome are details in the graphic output which are absent or strange. I also suspect the hinting preview to be autohinted by X11.
What does not
Problem 1 The demo FL46WinDemo.exe installs, but the full version installer (FL46WinFull.exe) would not start.
Solution: I had to edit /boot/grub/menu.lst and add "noexec=off noexec32=off" as boot options.
Problem 2 The installer (FL46WinFull.exe), which presupposes that the demo version of FontLab is installed, claims that the demo binary cannot be found or is corrupted.
Solution: Thus, I had to install Fontlab in Windows (VMware), and then move the installed program folder (with "patched" program file) from Windows to Linux.
What was not tested
I have not tested all functions in Fontlab (which a very complicated program), but editing, saving and generating fonts seem to work.
