What works

Everything.

Game, Sound, Music, Networking.

It has to be run in a wine-desktop like with the next line:

wine explorer /desktop=winedesktop,1024x768 "z:/home/diego/Juegos/Tactical Ops 35/System/TacticalOps.exe"

What does not

- Very low FPS, frames per second, with builtin wine dlls, but playable for single player mode.

This can be truely improved with some native dlls like with this tutorial:

I havent installed DX9 but did the dlloverrides and i got now 120 FPS when i have 30 FPS with builtins dlls. I think that i have better FPS than in Windows. Also wine is better with this game than cedega, but gamma is not changed when entering the game so you have to do so by hand:

Set the gamma to 2.5 to be able to see your enemies: xgamma -gamma 2.5

Set the gamma to the normal value to not burn your eyes: xgamma -gamma 1.0

Reset desktop resolution if you have some trouble changing it on the game: xrandr -s 0

- Shows an error after exiting with opengl mode. Which doesn't harm anything.

- UnrealEd.exe for tactical ops doesn't work. Should be this another appDB entry?

It is not out of errors and can not be rated Platinum by Definition.

What was not tested
The server. Which is a DOS program. Should use dosemu?
The server does have linux ports buts some time it is easier to find the windows ones.

With wines builtin dlls i only have 30 fps at most but with only one dll override i have 70 fps on the same map:
