Still getting Alsa errors when starting winecfg. But I did notice that the pop and hiss is gone now.
Also noticed game crashes when a particular sound (new game, new join siren in online lobby) but when I disable that sound (in options) it does not crash.
When you first run the game, click on options and disable new join and new game beep. I would also disable lobby muzak till the sound fx are fixed, but they do play. F7 disables music entirely, F8 for SFX.
