IP scanner correctly identifies the host name of the system it's running on, but it picks up the IP as 127.0.0.1 Keying in the range you want is possible, but the scan results still are for the 127.0.0.1 network.
What was not tested
Most of the functionality is not possible.

Angry IP Scanner 3.0, a cross-platform version is currently in Alpha and will include Linux support natively.
