What works
Install works fine and I'm able to communicate with my GPS by following the instructions in other comments (symlink for com1 to the TTYUSB device and set permissions on the TTYUSB device. I have been able to get track logs and a list of maps.
What does not
Track logs the data is shifted off by one column throwing off the dates and times but the location data is there and plots ok. I'm also unabe to update to the newer mapsource, same issue as others have posted the splash screen comes up and nothing happens after.
What was not tested
have not tried sending a maps to the GPS or a route or waypoint.
Additional Comments
The track log issue doesn't make any sense, seems like it should work or not, maybe I corrupted my logs, I'll clear those out and/or reinstall and try again.
