The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
Everything works. Program loads, can alter plugins, start roms with "normal boot" (other methods not yet implemented in the program). Roms tested were "capcom v SNK millionaire fighting" and "Musepey's choco marker".
What does not
The controller plugin needs patching. A patch is available, but it can take a little while to find. Search for a file called naomi_input_update.rar and overwrite the original plugin. This patch sorts out input issues with the emulator and many roms: a currently working version is at http:/www.megaupload.com/?d=909CIQ9N
The controller only supports keyboard input but seems to work well with the qjoypad utility.
The Emulator needs the Microsoft Visual C++ Run libraries 2010 and possibly earlier ones. I took no chances and downloaded all the updates from 2005-2010 with winetricks and this worked fine.
Also needed were the latest DirectX9 libraries. I downloaded these with winetricks also (listed as d3dx9_??.dll)
As before bios needs placing in the appropriate directory
Occasionally the program would hang when exiting from a ROM, but I suspect this is the same in windows. Would always exit normally if the wine process was terminated.
What was not tested
Nothing, I think I gave it a full going over.

How to run nullDC 1.0.4
by Mahen on Monday February 11th 2013, 5:15
As I'm unable to get keyboard input to work in NullDC 1.0.0b6, I tried to get version 1.0.4 to work.
Thanks to the following bugreport : bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32932 I figured out a native D3DCompiler_43.dll enabled to run those latest nullDC versions.
However, emulation is extremely slow. (compared to the performance reached in 1.0.0b6).

After I tried to run the gdi image, or just run dreamcast without CD, nullDC window close and in terminal this appears:

Confirm that games run fine under wine 1.2
by Giles on Wednesday September 29th 2010, 8:45
So long as install instructions detailed above are followed, games run fine under this wine version, however, consider a running the previous beta version nulldc100_b6, as it has joypad support (which this version lacks) and greater compatibility with Dreamcast games.
