JCreator 4.5 and Wine on Ubuntu 10.04
by David Arredondo on Wednesday May 5th 2010, 12:15
I install JCreator in Wine 1.1.42 following the next steps.

1. Install JDK for WinXp with Wine.
2. Install Winetricks.
3. Instal msxml 3,4 and 6.
4. Install JCreator 4.5.

I write the classic Hello World, it can build the file and run the project, but it's not fast enough as run in WinXp, but as long as i tried it works.

Ok its loadable (finally i could, of course w/ winetricks for msxml3)

These line appears constantly (wont load the welcome screen as it is in html)

fixme:mshtml:query_mshtml_paste (0x2496890)

Also if you close the first tab the program may crash.

It is not in a useful state, when you try creating a new project it dies with this lines (in the last step)

fixme:win:LockWindowUpdate (0x2002c), partial stub!
fixme:win:LockWindowUpdate ((nil)), partial stub!
fixme:shdocvw:OleInPlaceObject_InPlaceDeactivate

Anyway now im trying to use (native-mode) shdocvw.dll
