Old test results
The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
Looks like that everything is working now.
I'have tested all tabs and seems that application works without problems.
Rendering spot rendering joint manipulation, surface choose work without visible problems. OpenGL rendering is working too.
What does not
- Application still complains for lack of 32bit colour
What was not tested
- other Skins except Carrara
- Install and run the application on a dual CPU PC, as on a single P4 2,8 Ghz/1,5GB RAM & VGA Nvidia FX5200 128MB RAM the program is very slow.
Additional Comments
The application works very well up to now. The only reason I've rated the program as 'silver' is the fact that it is very slow when it is deployed on single cpu pc.
Also I will install the program on openSuSE 10.2 as the 10.3 is quite new.
The Microsoft Visual C++ runtime files are needed to run DAZ|Studio 1.7.1.x .
These are
available in a file called vcredist.exe or vcredist_x86.exe .
Either
version appears to work.
vcredist_x86.exe is available here at Microsoft. Please note that a Windows licence is needed to download this.
It is recommended that wine_gecko is installed for online registration to work.
WARNING
DAZ Studio appears not to run properly under the ATI proprietary fglrx drivers at present. If you are using an ATI card and experience problems, try the open source XOrg drivers.
If you are successfully using DAZ Studio 1.7.x with the fglrx drivers, could you please report which version of the fglrx drivers you are using and any xorg.conf settings that might be relevant.
