Error Creating game rendering context.
by superppl on Tuesday October 2nd 2007, 20:07
Hey guys, this is an error I get when I try to start up the game. I followed the instruction for beta 1+2, BTW.

So I'm running wine 9.46 w/ patch, openSuSE 10.3 rc1 x86 KDE, Nvidia GeForce GO 7700 driver version 100.14.19, and output of uname -a is:
Linux abdullah-linux 2.6.22.5-29-default #1 SMP 2007/09/20 15:19:04 UTC i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Play Online Not Working
by Evan Goers on Thursday September 27th 2007, 14:02
Trying to play online does not seem to be working at this point. When I click on "Play Online," the game will hang until it finally times out(or until I press Cancel when it gives me the option).

Anyone else having this problem?

If you are experiencing mouse problems in the main menu you might want to try setting com_fixedTic to 1

Spectacular
by Joe on Saturday September 15th 2007, 15:56
Running on a 7900GTX 2.4G C2D, on an NTFS partition, using PulseAudio with Hardware Acceleration set to Full and Driver Emulation UNChecked in winecfg. It runs Very well, I was even able to up the graphics settings and resolution a bit.

I followed the howto for the Beta, including patching, setting the registry key, and recompiling.
