Powerpoint Viewer 2007 is able to open both .ppt and .pptx files.

Installed fine. Opened ppt file created with PP 2003 but would not open sound files. Perhaps if I set them to start automatically it would have worked????? LibreOffice sound works but no pause, ff, rew, vol. etc.

Work around

as you can see from the bugs list, if pptviewer fails to run with this error

Use to crash, because it needed t2embed.dll, get it,copy it to .wine/drive_c/windows/system32. works just fine
