HOWTO

How to get TntMPD running on your computer. First choose Version 2.0r56. Second follow these steps:

  1. Set wine-version to "Windows98"
    • Install MDAC_TYP.EXE (MDAC 2.8 for Win98)
    • Install Jet40SP8_9xNT.exe (Jet4.0 for Win98)
  2. Set wine-version to "WindowsXP"
  3. Copy mssign32.dll, mapi32.dll and riched20.dll to .wine/drive_c/windows/system32/ and set them to "native,builtin" in winecfg
  4. Install TntMPD using SetupTntMPD.exe
  5. Set wine-version to "Windows98"
  6. Run the application
  7. Do some testing and submit a test report

     
    Source Code Changes between r56 and r57

    Note: There was some wine specific code in this program. Starting with r57 it's removed. Submit newer test results to this version:  TntMPD2.0 r57+.
