What works
Install of the Win 2000 works, (from mess.be) and I can get the program running with WINEDLLOVERRIDES="crypt32,rpcrt4,wintrust,riched20=n" wine msnmsgr.exe
What does not
I can't connect because of "fixme:ras:RasEnumConnectionsA RAS support is not implemented! Configure program to use LAN connection/winsock instead!" Network troubleshooter.

Using winetricks install: msxml3, flash, riched20
Then just install MSN Messenger 7.5 with the default Windows xp version.
After the installation using winecfg change the Windows version to win2k.
And you will have you're almost perfect MSN Messenger 7.5.
