Quake 2 was released under the GPL by iD software, and this modification is probably the most advanced russian version of quake 2 available today.
Based on an early version of Tenebrae and Quake 2 Evolved it features per pixel lighting, awesome water shaders, improved bot AI, real time lighting, and updated textures and models even in some cases. Can be found at http://www-personal.umich.edu/~jimw/q2/
