Angband
Angband is a Rogue-like adventure game derived from Moria and UMoria. Wizards, priests, thieves, archers and more try their hand at single-handidly taking on the terrible dungeon of Morgoth. The game features magical weapons, spell casting, multiple character classes and races and a plethora of enemies and mazes.
The name Angband comes from a dungeon in J.R.R. Tolkien's mythological Middle Earth where Morgoth the Vala and Sauron the Maia both had taken residence. The end goal of the game is to battle ever deeper into the dungeon, gaining power and weapons, and eventually defeating the sworn enemy of the Valar. Be warned, Morgoth is a Vala himself and will not be defeated easily.
