A unique championship mode distinguishes this outstanding mahjongg
solitaire program. In the trial version of Gekko Mahjongg World
Championship, the Classic mode only unlocks the traditional solitaire
layout, with 35 other layouts displayed, but not playable. Though that
one layout will keep you occupied, the Championship mode blew us away.
You're presented with a series of puzzles that increase in difficulty,
and you compete for the best solving time. The first few levels take a
minute or less each, and the time rises quickly from there. You can
upload your scores for both Classic and Championship modes, though users
of the trial version get docked 1,000 points.
