Bionite: Origins
BZ3 Genesis defines itself officially as an open community driven
project to recreate the original Battlezone, a critically acclaimed
game, released in 1989 by Activision. By recreating the key gameplay
mechanics (vehicle handling, RTS gameplay, etc.) on the UDK. The goal of
this is to provide a powerful platform to support developers and
enthusiasts to create content or Battlezone like games, and revive the
series. At the same time BZ3 Genesis implements an authentic remaking of
Battlezone on this platform. So it practically means bringing the
classic to life on a next gen platform; the UDK.
