OMSI (Der Omnibussimulator)
A very large community-driven simulation program from Germany with a focus on 1980's Berlin, but with the option to create maps and buses for anywhere and anywhen you want, if you have the time and image-editing and coding patience. Many just add their own liveries. This app is intended to be paid for, although like with most paid apps, there do exist ways to circumvent this (which I doubt the developer would recommend). There is an SDK for creating your own maps and buses, timetables and liveries. There are also plugins available, such as the one for Google Earth integration. Version 2 is coming soon, which promises to introduce working bendy buses (articulated buses) and many performance improvements.
