A special freeware Christmas version of the shareware Gekko Mahjongg game. The Christmas theme is complete with sound, background, tileset, and graphics, 3 layouts (easy, medium, hard). It is not possible to use other tilesets etc. Your own music (mp3/mid) and backgrounds (jpg) can be used in the game. Very good graphics. Req.: DirectX6.1 or higher. Made in 2000.This is the xmas edition of Mahjongg, a popular Asian board game. The goal of the game is to clean up a board of 144 tiles by finding and discarding matching pairs of tiles. Win 98, Win 2000, Win Me.
This is a special edition, therefore it does not have updated versions. So only newer versions of wine will be tested.
A special note; Can not get it to work in windows 8.1.
On second thought, I got it to work in win 8.1.
I used WINE to change it's graphics mode.
Starten / Optionen/Grafik/Darstellung and changed the option to "Fenster".
So now it runs in windowed mode. But to win 8.1 the game loads ok!
