This Win95 port of the original (and very good) DOS flight sim can be made to run very well indeed under wine.
To start it make sure that your wine command line includes the parameters found in the Windows Start Menu .lnk or .pif,
eg:
cd <unixpath>/SEF2000/PROGRAM/
wine _superw.exe DID="
Installation of DirectX fails, but is unnecessary.
Set the game resolution to 640x480 in EF2K (press the key to the left of the \"1\" key to access settings) and use Alt-Enter to switch wine full-screen to make it more useable on modern computers. You may even find it runs a little too fast!
