Bopup Observer is a small tool that allows to receive instant messages and files over local networks and Internet. It is based on a central server software called Bopup Communication Server that holds all user accounts, message history and user groups for broadcast messaging. This application cannot send outgoging data, it is designed for one-way messaging and can be used as alerting and notification utility in various environments such as corporate networks, school LAN or healtcare/clinic tool. Delivered data is strongly ecnrypted so this software can be used for safe exchange with confidential information.
Bopup Observer supports different authentication methods including Windows Authentication for domain networks. Messages to Bopup Observer can be delivered directly from IM server or using full-featured instant messenger called Bopup Messenger.
