HyperRESEARCH is a cross-platform qualitative data analysis (QDA) software designed for qualitative data analysis.
Users can work with text, graphics, audio, and video sources and apply codes, retrieve sections of text, analyze data, and use tools that assist with building theory.
First introduced in 1991, HyperRESEARCH is available for Windows and Linux and projects can be exchanged between platforms.
Several companies offer QDA application, but HyperResearch stands out because of its relatively low cost, its excellent non-restrictive license that allows users to install it on several machines and run it as a portable app, and for the company's outstanding support. I usually receive answers to my questions within a day.
None of the other major QDA programs AtlasTI, Nvivo, and MaxQDA appear to run in WINE.
