Deskmates was an old sprite desktop companion system that started in 1997 with the character Oska before expanding to others. It was popular in the late 90's and early 2000's before the company went bankrupt in 2012 causing the site to vanish on 6/02/2012. The Deskmates were different characters that would wander around on your screen doing different things and interacting to mouse clicks.
