Crysis Remastered

In 2020 Crysis Remastered was released and is a remaster of the original Crysis – which was powered by Cryengine 2.x – in a version of Cryengine 5.x.

The remaster is based on the later console port (X360, PS3) of Crysis – which was based on Cryengine 3.x – and henceforth excludes certain features and a level which were already missing in the console port in contrast to the original 2007 release.   

Crysis is a first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows and released in November 2007. It is the first game in the Crysis series. A standalone expansion entitled Crysis Warhead was released in 2008, following the events of Crysis but from the perspective of another character. Crysis Warhead  included a standalone Multiplayer in Crysis Wars.
 

At the time Crysis was released, and years thereafter, it has been praised for its milestones in graphical design – commensurate with high hardware requirements. 

The Story of Crysis was continued in Crysis 2 and Crysis 3.
