Flying Corps: Gold is the late-1997 reshipment of the early-1997 World War I flight simulator Flying Corps, by Rowan Software. Flying Corps: Gold enhances Flying Corps with 3dfx support and a few extras.
In Flying Corps: Gold, the player can flight their plane and play a part in WW1. Different plane models are available (and, consequently, different sides in which to stand during the war). Two main game modes can be played: "Scramble", i.e. mini-games ("Follow the leader", "First flight", etc.), and "Campaigns" (plot-driven sets of missions).
Flying Corps was named the 14th best computer game ever by PC Gamer UK in 1997.
