A platform-centric adventure game released by a defunct Seoul game company that are similar to many western counterparts of the late 1990's, as it contains pre-rendering scenes and platforms designed to run on low budget computers. It was even designed to run on older Windows 98 with DirectX 8.0 (but tested on contemporary Windows XP) at the time it was released (2004). Few months after released, the company goes bankrupt, much due to the legal trouble as the staff was accused by copyright infringement of Microsoft and Adobe software.
As quoted by Archive, which also an animate film about the main character was released:
The story is about a boy called Mangchi. He is small, but he possesses a magical hammer that helps him get around all his problems. He therefore got the nickname of "Hammerboy". Mangchi lives on a small distant island called Candlestick because everywhere else has turned into a wasteland because of some big catastrophe. When Princess Poplar from the kingdom of Jemius is being pursued by henchmen of the conspirator Moonk, Hammerboy sides with her, ready to unleash all his latent powers in order to save humankind.
