Kerbal Space Program 2 (KSP2) is the successor to the celebrated rocket and airplane building and outer space flight simulation Kerbal Space Program (KSP1).
In 2023-02-24 the early access / beta version of KSP2 was released, but not for Linux (DirectX11, see also ProtonDB). In contrast KSP1 was initially and always available natively for Linux. However KSP2 is using a version of the multi platform Unity Game Engine like KSP1 and the publisher says Linux and macOS support is on the extended roadmap.
Extending the predecessor KSP2 has plans to provide better graphics, a colony system, interstellar travel to new star systems and multiplayer on its roadmap. Be aware, that the early access version does not have most of these, except for better graphics (on low fps)! See also Wikipedia and Steam (Community).
