The application hinges around a borehole manager (though it doesn't have to be used for RockWorks to work). The usual gambit of borehole sheets are associated with the borehole manager (collar, survey, assay, lithology, stratigraphy, sampling, downhole point data etc).
Data is kept in a SQLite database that is created and maintained by the program (no db setup required).
From the boreholes you can create sections and a model. You can model lithology or stratigraphy or grade shells etc.
There is a wide variety of grid options and model types.
It's great for visualisation and is well suited to the exploration side of the job.
It has a linked spreadsheet you can use to import data into the borehole manager in case of boreholes or bring in point data for gridding etc.
