InAudible is designed to decrypt and remove DRM from audio book files purchased from audible.com, with an aim towards allowing the book purchaser to listen to said books on any device they want which can play MP3's (yes, it can also convert the book to MP3 format). It is based on the open-source ffmpeg utility.
One of its most useful features is the ability to mimic the chapter splitting Audible uses to create the book file. This means, as one example, when burning an audio book to a CD-R disc, each chapter will be an individual MP3 file.
