Used by many organisations who subscribe to the idea of outsourcing their IT solutions and wasting money to produce complete junk. We (my employer) are forced to use a particular useless application to order stuff from the local $TELCO. The $TELCO decided it was a great idea to force ISP's into using windoze :( After using Win2k3 for ages with terminal services we got annoyed with it and found that actually things could be done under Linux with WINE (cheers guys); I looked into the issue earlier however failed to come up with anything good. N.B. if your $TELCO is the same as ours, do *not* run tethereal/tcpdump on the eco client, you will scream and they might fix the problem which would mean we can no longer use WINE :) Siebel Thin Client is your typical CRM application used to log faults, place orders and spend hours logging what you are ment to be doing rather than actually doing it so beancounters and PHB's can keep a tab on you and justify their own existance.
