Uses DX7 in version 2.6 and DX9 in version 3.2

There are two versions of Marine Aquarium available as of late.

• Version 2.6 which features DirectX 7
• Initially available for Microsoft Windows and was released afterwards for Mac OSX and OS9
• Currently unusable on wine 1.7, 1.8, 1.9
• Runs on very low-spec hardware in Windows
• A customized version was released with Windows XP Plus!

• Version 3.2 which features DirectX 9
• Initially available for Microsoft Windows and was released afterwards for Mac OSX
• Currently usable on Wine 1.7, 1.8, 1.9
• Runs on low-spec machines (Within reason)
• The successor to Version 2.6
