e-Tools is a character generation software that was licensed by Wizards of the Coast for Dungeons & Dragons version 3.0 RPG rules set.
e-Tools was originally developed by Fluid Entertainment, and after some
problems, in 2002 a license was granted to CMP to take over stewardship
of the program as well as the licensing to produce data sets of
Wizard's books for e-Tools (and PCGen).
In November of 2006 Wizards
of the Coast declined to renew the license agreement with CMP, as such,
e-Tools is no longer for sale.
