JoyToKey is an application written by Vector Inc. The application is available in both English and Japanese interface. It has been fully ported to Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP and works in Windows Vista under Windows XP SP2 Emulation.
This program lets you use your joystick to set keyboard/mouse events. It basically lets you control your mouse using your Joystick or Game Pad. It is really an awesome tool, as you can use it to move your mouse, increase/decrease mouse movement speeds, set buttons to CTRL+C (copy), minimize, maximize, and other features in Windows.
Wine can run JoyToKey.exe, as long as the joysticks are recognized by the kernel; however
they keyboard and mouse click events are not registered with any Xapplications (such as the Gnome Session Manager or KDE GUIs). Hopefully we can build future support for wine to allow this application to register mouse and keyboard events on these window managers.
