Design and Product Lifecycle Management software used by well known companies like Boeing, Airbus, Daimler, BMW, Volkswagen, jump-ING and many others.

At a high price, it features about everything you need when working as an engineer in the aerospace, automobile or civil engineering industry. Other, higher specialised packages work even better in specific tasks, though.

Catia is available for AIX, AIX 64-bit, Windows XP, Windows XP 64-bit (no Vista support so far), HP/UX, Solaris and IRIX. IRIX support was dropped after V5R17.

Catia is known to work in VirtualPC and VirtualBox.
