ActiveX plugin that lets you view Visio files in IE 5 and up.

Instructions for use:

  • From Windows Explorer, double-click a Visio drawing ( .vsd, .vss, .vst, .vdx, .vsx, or .vtx extension). An Internet Explorer window opens and loads Visio Viewer, which then loads and renders the drawing in the browser window.
  • On the Internet Explorer File menu, click Open. In the Open dialog box, select a Visio drawing ( .vsd, .vss, .vst, .vdx, .vsx, or .vtx extension). Internet Explorer loads Visio Viewer, which then renders the drawing in the browser window.
  • If an Internet Explorer window is already open, you can drag and drop a Visio drawing file ( .vsd, .vss, .vst, .vdx, .vsx, or .vtx extension) into the window. Internet Explorer loads Visio Viewer, which then renders the drawing in the browser window.

Microsoft Excel Viewer Microsoft Excel Viewer is a freeware program for viewing and printing spreadsheet documents created by Excel. Excel Viewer is similar to Microsoft Word Viewer in functionality. (There is not a current version for the Mac.) Excel Viewer is available for Microsoft Windows and Windows CE handheld PCs, such as the NEC MobilePro.[45] It is also possible to open excel files using certain online tools and services. Online excel viewers do not require users to have Microsoft Excel installed.
Microsoft Word Viewer Microsoft Word Viewer is a freeware program for Microsoft Windows that can display and print Microsoft Word documents. Word Viewer allows text from a Word document to be copied into clipboard and pasted into a word processor. The last version made was compatible with Word 2007. Since then, it has been superseded by Office Online and free mobile versions of Word.
