The last of the cardinal Ultima series, finishing the storyline of the Avatar.
By default the original retail box game includes SafeDisc protection (incompatible with Wine), but an "unofficial" patch (1.19) removes the SafeDisc protection without needing an actual No CD crack. This patch is pre-installed in the legitimate GOG.com version.
The game is playable under Wine, but movies playback silent and entirely black.
As a standalone RPG, this game is fairly interesting to play and easy to get into. Some third-party mods have enhanced portions of the game greatly.
