语音朗读精灵是一款将文字转换成语音的软件。
SmartRead is a Text-To-Speech software.
它采用了微软的语音技术，所以当我们安装它时，需要同时安装微软的语音程序。不过，不用担心，在它的安装包中已经包含了微软语音程序。
It uses Microsoft's voice technology, so when we install it, at the same time the need to install Microsoft's Voice program. However, do not worry, it's already installed package includes Microsoft's voice program.
此外，它还支持将文字转换为wave/mp3/swf文件。

1、安装Wine（真是废话）
1, Install Wine (it rubbish)

2、中文用户需要安装中文补丁，位下载地址（32位）：http://forum.ubuntu.org.cn/viewtopic.php?f=121&t=132463
解压缩gdi32.dll.so.tar.bz2，复制到/usr/lib/wine

Extract gdi32.dll.so.tar.bz2, Copy to /usr/lib/wine

3、下载并安装语音朗读精灵

4、 点击“应用程序”菜单>Wine>Configure Wine>“应用程序”标签>添加程序设置>找到/home/user/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/SmartySoft/SmartRead/smartread.exe>Windwos版本选择2000或XP，"user"是你的用户名。
4, click on the "application" menu> Wine> Configure Wine> "application" label> Settings to add> find /home/user/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/SmartySoft/SmartRead/smartread.exe> Windwos version select 2000  or XP, "user" is your user name.

5、“音效”标签>选择ALSA>频率44100>位元16>驱动程序模拟

6、确定>注销或重启电脑

现在，你就可以使用语音朗读精灵了。默认已经包含了Mary、Mike、Sam三个英语TTS引擎和简体中文TTS引擎。

如果你是中文用户，还需对语音朗读精灵进行设置：工具>编码>自动；语言>简体中文或繁体中文
If you are a Chinese user, on the need to set SmartRead: Tools> Encode> Auto; Language> Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese
中文用户真是好运气！除了可以使用简体中文TTS引擎外，还可以安装NeoSpeech Lily（收费软件），支持中英文混合朗读、音质极好！
